Summary: Chemistry Teacher, Lynn Young will be chaperoning 3 students to the annual Jr. Science and Humanities Symposium. This conference promotes original research in the sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics. This 3 day event will be held at the University of Nevada and students will have the opportunity to hear nationally renowned scientists peak on their work; visit university, corporate and government research facilities and meet informally with university students and research scientists.
Funding: Parent provided funding for the $100.00 fee that includes registration for 3 students and one teacher, all meals, lodging and conference activities.
