Summary:
|
Tesoro Refining & Marketing Company, LLC, has selected the Mt. Diablo Unified School District to implement a Replacement Project, replacement of older diesel fueled school buses with new compressed natural gas ("CNG") buses. Tesoro is a party to a consent decree entered on July 18, 2016, in the matter of United States of America, et al v. Tesoro Refining & Marketing Co. LLC et al. Tesoro is contributing a total of $1,000,000 for a minimum of 4 replacement project school buses.
The transportation department requests the purchase of six 2016 36 passenger StarCraft Quest XL Ford F59 buses.
Pricing for these units would be on the "piggyback" bid from South County Support Services Agency.
