Each year the District strives to project the enrollment for each school, identify and hire an appropriate level of teachers for the needed classrooms, and then balances the classes across our schools in accordance with contractual parameters. Staff will provide a review of the processes used to determine staffing based on enrollment projections, address the balancing of enrollment at schools and across grade levels, and discuss how adjustments are accomplished within schools and across the District.
