Summary: On June 6, 2016, the parties reached agreement on Emergency Coverage Compensation. The attached Memorandum of Understanding reflects the parties consensus on this item.

Given the constant number of Special Education Assistant vacancies and absences, and the lack of substitute coverage, the parties have reached a one year agreement with CSEA to pay current Special Education Assistant Employees who volunteer to cover unfilled assignments.

Fiscal Impact Variable based on employee absences, vacancies, and employee volunteers.
