Summary: On August 19, 2016, the parties reached agreement on Early Childhood Attendant I and II positions at Crossroads High School. The attached Memorandum of Understanding reflects the parties consensus on this item.

Changes have been made to better reflect the Head Start grant requirements of Early Childhood Education units that must be earned by employees. The Early Childhood Attendant I position has been changed to Early Childhood Educator-Trainee. The Early Childhood Attendant II position has been changed to Early Childhood Educator. A job description has been developed for Early Childhood Educator-Lead. The revised and new job descriptions are attached.

Changes have been made to the salary schedule for these positions to reflect the required units and responsibilities. Current employees are being placed in the Early Childhood Educator position retroactive to January 1, 2016.
Funding: Restricted and Unrestricted General Fund.
