Summary: The District’s consultant prepared and circulated a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Public Resources Code Section 21000, et seq. (CEQA) for the proposed Ygnacio Valley High School Sports Field Lighting Project. An Initial Study/Environmental Checklist was included in the EIR. Public comments received during the public review period are addressed in the Responses to Comments document. Together, the Draft EIR and the Responses to Comments document comprise the Final EIR.

Fiscal Impact None
Recommendation: Adopt resolution certifying the Final EIR for the Ygnacio Valley High School Sports Field Lighting Project. The Final EIR is available on the MDUSD website. Staff anticipates returning for final board action on August 28, 2013.
