Summary: In an effort to reduce supplemental spending, staff is recommending that the 2019 Summer School program be reduced. For this summer, TK-8th grade students would only have access to the Extended School Year (ESY) and CARES programs. TK-8th grade ESY programs would be offered at Holbrook, Rio Vista, Sequoia, Sunrise, El Dorado, Pleasant Hill Middle, and Riverview.

The federally grant funded CARES programs would be offered at Bel Air, Cambridge, Delta View, El Monte, Fair Oaks, Holbrook, Meadow Homes, Rio Vista, Shore Acres, Sun Terrace, Wren, Ygnacio Valley, El Dorado, Oak Grove, Riverview, and Ygnacio Valley High. High school students would still be able to take classes for grade enhancement and credit recovery. High school credit recovery and ESY programs will be offered at Loma Vista, Olympic, Pleasant Hill Middle, Riverview Middle, Ygnacio Valley High.
Funding: Savings to the Local Control Funding Formula
