Summary
:
A committee of high school mathematics teachers, district secondary math coach and school support administrator for mathematics went through a district process to recommend for adoption the following Statistics text and materials for the high school Statistics course:
Elementary Statistics (12th edition) by Mario F. Triola (Pearson)
The committee evaluated the materials based on alignment to Common Core Mathematics Content Standards and Mathematical Practice Standards. Focus was placed on applications to college fields of study and career paths.
