Summary:
|
In an attempt to create supportive and safe school environments the District is implementing a pilot Restorative Justice program. Restorative Justice focuses on teaching and understanding rather than punitive discipline approaches. Restorative Justice focuses on giving students the tools to understand differences, resolve disputes, and ultimately build the skills to sustain a strong community and good citizenship. The pilot program will be introduced at Alliance and Olympic High Schools.
