Summary:
|
The replacement of the swimming pools at Mt. Diablo and College Park High Schools requires the services of a certified laboratory testing and site inspection firm to insure construction compliance with all DSA approved plans and specifications. These services include, but are not limited to, the testing and inspection of all excavation work, aggregate base, asphalt paving, utilities, cast-in-place concrete, shotcrete, masonary elements, metal fabricating and associated engineering and project management tasks including the preparation of requisite reports and project close-out.
Staff is recommending award of a professional services contract to Matriscope Engineering Laboratories, Inc. for a not to exceed fee of $24,953.00 for the provision of said services. The budget for this project, as approved by the Board on March 24, 2009 is $3,185,000.
