Summary
:
The registrar for the K12.CA.US domain has been changed to Neustar inc. (www.neustuar.com).
Neustar Inc., under contract to the US. Department of Commerce, has been given responsibility for the .us name space, which includes k12.ca.us. Ultimately this will have little, if any, affect to current domain ownerships. It does mean that any school district or County Office of Education that currently uses .k12.ca.us must submit the following documentation to Neustar.
· Signed letter (city/organization letterhead) requesting the update or change.
· A completed template (attached) signed and notarized by a notary public.
· A completed .US Domain Registration Agreement.
