Summary
:
On February 25,2011 LEAs became legally and fiscally responsible for providing student mental health services (previously covered under AB3632). Mt. Diablo Unified School District will require funding to support existing outpatient mental health services, case management for students in out-of-state placements as well as Non-Medi-Cal eligible students. Services that were previously provided by the Contra Costa County Mental Health Division will be taken over by Community Options for Families and Youth Inc. IEP services are delivered according to the terms of a master contract and individual service agreements. Rate negotiations and FAPE determinations will be made only at the written request of MDUSD and will be billed separately from student services.
