Summary:
|
Sports Medicine II is a capstone course for the Medical and Biotechnology Academy at Mt. Diablo High School. It is the only high school in the district offering a two year sports medicine continuum. Last June the Board adopted the course of study for this course. The teacher of the course piloted possible texts through the pilot period for the course. After more than a year of review of possible appropriate texts, Principles of Athletic Training: A Competency-Based Approach, Prentice, 15th edition, has been identified as the recommended text for the course.
