Summary
:
The Mt. Diablo Unified School District, through the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, utilizes independent service contractors to provide services to students with various specialized needs.
On May 24, 2011 adjustments were brought early to the Board of Trustees for approval based on the projection of services required to get to June 9, 2011, the end of the regular school year. Services were anticipated to fade by the end of May. However, with some contracted services the projection did not hold due to IEP obligations, student emotional and behavioral crisis.
