Speech Hearing and Language Specialist Pathologist 207 Day.pdf
Summary: The District is proposing the creation of the Speech, Language Pathologist 207 Day Contract position to reduce the chronic shortage of SLP staff for the Extended School Year. In previous years, the District has been forced to advertise for SLP's for the Extended School Year and contract with outside agencies to meet the IEP needs of our students. The 207 day contracted employees' school year would help cover the time that ESY is in session thus lessening the need for expensive agency employees.

This item was brought forward for information only at the February 13, 2017 meeting. It is now being presented for action.
Funding: Unrestricted General Fund.
Fiscal Impact $8,237
