Summary: On September 10, 2012 the Board of Education approved a prioritized list of facility enhancement projects for Clayton Valley Charter High School. The construction of specific improvements to the site's athletic stadium complex were identified as high priority projects. Staff has collaborated with the site administration and secured Board approval for the design of these requested improvements which include, renovation of the synthetic track system, replacement of the all-weather field surfacing, installation of safety netting, the construction of supplemental bleachers, concession, storage, restroom and weight room facilities as well as a ticket booth.

In support of the improved enhancements staff is recommending that a contract for the provision of all necessary CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) related services be awarded to LSA Associates, Inc. for a 'not to exceed' amount of $134,830.00. Contract includes preparation of the Initial Study, Mitigated Negative Declaration and/or Environmental Impact Report (if required), Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan, Notice of Determination as well as the provision of on-going project management services.
