Summary:
|
The California Schools Employee Association (CSEA) and the Mt. Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) reached a tentative agreement on October 21, 2019. Within the tentative agreement both parties satisfied the required negotiations for the 2018-2019 Reopener, per Article 24 - Salary, of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Agreements were reached and executed on the following articles: Article 3 - Organizational Security, Article 23 - Salary Administration, and Article 24 - Salary. All other provisions of the 2016-2019 CSEA and MDUSD Collective Bargaining Agreement remain unchanged. A notice from the Contra Costa County Office of Education (CCCOE) addressed by Bill Clark, Deputy Superintendent, Business and Administrative Services has been attached for Board review and will require a future resolution, calling for the identification of $5.0 million minimum in ongoing budget adjustments to strengthen the District's multi-year projection. CCCOE is requiring that Mt. Diablo Unified School District submits a board approved resolution and that identified budget adjustments should be submitted to their office on or before the filing of the Second Interim Report.
