At the Board of Education Meeting of June 15, 2010, the Board authorized Resolution No. 09/10-67 for the Timely Award of Summer Projects. CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS: Bid #1569/Contract C-900, to the lowest responsible bidder, Blossom Valley Construction, for the Landscape Improvements at Pine Hollow, Gateway and Clayton Valley High Schools. The contract will be performed under a single fixed priced contract in the amount of $462,050.00, all taxes included. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: the removal of existing landscaping, trees, etc., and the installation of irrigation systems and new landscaping, trees, etc. Total budget amount is $660,000.00. Funding Source: Measure C RFQ #1571: Playground Equipment Installation at Mt. Diablo Elementary. This was bid on July 21, 2010. The lowest responsible bidder is Earth Stone Construction, Inc, in the amount of $38,250.00. Total budget amount is $35,000.00. Funding Source: Proposition 55 The other projects listed on the docket for Resolution No. 09/10-67 will be brought forward in separate board agenda items and may be presented at a later date but were on the summer resolution.
