:
MDUSD Food and Nutrition Services Department, After School CARES Program, Meadow Homes Elementary School and Riverview Middle School will implement a pilot program where parents will be invited to learn how to best help their student with homework. The parents will be share supper with their student at this time. Parents will also be provided nutrition education. Kaiser Permanente, Community Benefits has agreed to provide grant funding of $2,000 to cover the cost of the supper meals for the parents.
