Summary:
|
SB 70 has extended the limited flexibility provided under SBX3 4 for the fiscal years through 2014-15 to allow school districts to utilize funding received from the state budget act for "Tier 3" categorical programs for any educational purpose. As a condition of receipt of the funding, a public hearing on utilization of the flexibility is required annually concurrent with the adoption of the budget.
