Summary
:
This professional development day will be a follow-up for elementary principals to the August Leadership Institute presentation by Mike Mattos. Mr. Mattos will work directly with principals to discuss processes for embedding the RTI practices and principles into their organizational culture. In a presentation tailored to the critical role of the principal, Mr. Mattos will cover:
1) Ways to support and monitor the work teams are doing in the RTI Academies.
2) Ways to address challenges and accelerate the development of a school culture that expects success for all students.
3) Ways to strategically implement each school’s plan to systematize responsive instruction and interventions.
