Summary: On August 10, 2010, the Board of Education ratified the Award of Bid for Bid #1569/Contract C-900 for $462,050.00 to Blossom Valley Construction, Inc., for the Landscape Improvements at Pine Hollow Middle School and Gateway and Clayton Valley High Schools.

Additional work was required. This work included: Gateway High School: adding three (3) additional valves and heads to increase water pressure in the turf area. Clayton Valley High School: replace and repair of existing main line breaks and add two (2) additional valves to the system. Pine Hollow Middle School: extend a main line.

This resulted in a single, final, additive change order that will increase the original contract value of $462,050.00 to a final contract value of $479,633.13. The budget for this project was $660,000.00.
