Summary: Chabot-Las Positas Community College District would like to contract again with Mt. Diablo Adult Education, as lead adult education agency, to provide assessments and test proctoring for job seekers at three Contra Costa County One-Stop Career Centers. Mt. Diablo Adult Education functions as the lead agency for the purposes of this contract and would, in turn, re-enter into Memorandums of Understanding with Pittsburg Adult Education and West Contra Costa Adult Education for assessment services at One Stop Career Centers in their communities. Attached is the contract as proposed by the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District and MOUs as proposed by Mt. Diablo Adult Education.
Funding: Chabot-Las Positas Community College District.
Fiscal Impact Mt. Diablo Adult Education would be compensated by Chabot-Las Positas Community College District $100,450 as a total cost of outlined services. Mt. Diablo Adult Education would in turn reimburse Pittsburg Adult Education and West Contra Costa Adult Education a maximum of $22,050 each, based on delivery of services.
Recommendation: Approve Mt. Diablo Adult Education entering into an interagency agreement with Chabot-Las Positas Community College District and Memorandums of Understanding with Pittsburg Adult Education and West Contra Costa Adult Education.
