Summary: Assuming the Board of Education affirms and approves the Facility Enhancement projects prioritized and submitted by both Clayton Valley and Mt. Diablo High Schools, District staff is recommending that a professional services contract for the engineering and design services necessary for the site adaptation and construction of new chemistry classroom buildings at these two sites be approved as soon as possible. Staff has negotiated, and is now recommending that a 'not to exceed' contract in the amount of $136,000.00 be awarded to PHd Architects for the provision of comprehensive engineering, design and contruction administration services required for the approval and satisfactory completion of these proposed facilities.
