Summary:

On June 28, 2011, the Board of Education approved High School Enhancement Projects for each of the comprehensive high schools and Olympic High School. As part of this greater approval, the Board approved the procurement and installation of replacement lockers for the woman’s locker room at Northgate High School. On October 25, 2011, Request for Quotation No. 1592 was issued for this project and on November 16, 2011, bids were opened. Based on the results of this competitive solicitation, staff is recommending that a contract in the amount of $67,750.00 be awarded to Inner Space Engineering Corporation for the provision and installation of the specified locker systems. The Engineer’s estimate for this particular project was $80,000.00 and the budget was $100,000.00.
