Summary: Final plans and specifications for the Northgate Stadium Lighting Project have been submitted to the District on behalf of the Northgate Community Pride Foundation. These plans and specifications detail the construction and installation of lighting and bleacher/pressbox systems as well as associated site improvements as they are additionally discussed in a formal Environmental Impact Report. Staff has reviewed and commented on these drawings and specifications and determined that they are fully conforming to District standards and design criteria. As such, staff is recommending approval of the Northgate Stadium Lighting Project as it would be installed by the Northgate Community Pride Foundation as an extension/amendment to the existing Site and Facility Lease agreements between MDUSD and the Northgate Community Pride Foundation, approved by the Board of Education on October 9, 2007.
