Summary: Assuming the Board of Education affirms and approves the facility enhancement projects prioritized and submitted by Ygnacio Valley High School, District staff is recommending that contracts addressing both the mandated regulatory and design processes associated with the installation of stadium (sports field) lighting be approved as soon as possible. Staff has negotiated, and is now recommending, that a contract stipulating a 'not to exceed' fee of $30,000 (inclusive of all reimbursable expenses) be awarded to Salas O'Brien Engineers, Inc. for the provision of comprehensive design, engineering and construction administration support necessary for the approval and satisfactory completion of the proposed project.

The budget for this particular project is $537,500.00.
Funding: Proposition 55 (Fund 33) Funding
Fiscal Impact Not to exceed $30,000.
