Summary:

On October 12, 2010, the Board awarded a bid for Smart Interactive Whiteboards, Document Cameras and Projectors for Meadow Homes Elementary School.
After the item had gone to Board, but before the purchase order was issued, the Purchasing Department received a protest from one of the bidders alleging a calculation error in the tabulation of bids with regard to the whiteboards and that they were the low bidder.
Upon review of the tabulation, the Purchasing Department determined that the bidder was correct. A tabulation error had occurred.
It is recommended that the Board rescind the Award of Bid #1572 with regard to the Whiteboards to CompView, Inc., in the amount of $71,351.22 and award Bid #1572 to In2Change, Inc., in the amount of $68,401.59 (including tax, installation and training).
