Summary:

On May 1, 2013, the Board approved the consideration of proposals from one or more search firms that have conducted successful searches in other districts to conduct the search for the new Superintendent of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. The three search firms to be considered are as follows:
At this time, the Board will consider and take action on the process to be used in the selection of a search firm.
1) Leadership Associates (conducted search in San Ramon Valley Unified School District)
2) Ray and Associates (conducted searches in Oakland Unified School District and Berkeley Unified School District)
3) The Cosca Group (conducted searches in Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District and Hayward Unified School District)
Proposals from these three firms are attached. The Board will take action to approve one of these three firms.
