Ford Cargo Van Invoice October 2018.pdf
Summary: In August, 2018, the Purchasing/Warehouse cargo van was totaled due to a large tree branch falling on the roof and front end of the vehicle. In order to meet the delivery needs for all schools and sites in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District, the Purchasing/Warehouse Department needs to purchase a new cargo van.

Downtown Ford of Sacramento, vendor for the California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) is unable to provide a cargo van with a mesh safety cage including door per the recommendation of the district’s Transportation Department. Additionally, delivery time is approximately four (4) months from the issuance of the Purchase Order.
Future Auto Center of Concord has agreed to price match Downtown Ford’s CMAS pricing. Future Auto Center of Concord can provide a cargo van with the necessary mesh safety cage and delivery is expected within nine (9) weeks of the issuance of the purchase Order. Future Ford Auto Center of Concord pricing includes base price, options, mesh safety cage with a door, license and title fees, delivery and destination fees, tire and battery fees, and local state sales tax for a total of $32,205.39.
Funding: Vehicle Replacement Budget from Measure A
Program Code: 553
Fiscal Impact $32,205.39, all taxes included
