Summary: The Superintendent is requesting permission to destroy hard copies of Personnel files that have been electronically stored. Under the California Code of Regulations, the District is only required to keep one copy of the permanent Personnel files. A permanent copy of all legal documents relating to employment is maintained in an electronic file per the California Code of Regulations, Sections 16020 (5CCR16020)and 16022 (5CCR16022) and Education Code 44031.
