Subject: 15.26 Review and Potential Approval of Price Quotation for Sanitizing and Disinfecting Equipment

Summary: In response to COVID-19, and in conjunction with the District Health & Safety Task Force Sanitation Small Group, increased facilities safety and sanitation considerations were reviewed. In order to achieve the guidelines for cleaning, we reviewed and tested several options for sanitizing and believe that the Germ Buster Mister will provide increased cleaning security to help stop the spread of the virus. The Surtec, Inc. equipment allows for use with the District approved chemicals as well as has a moderate price point compared to other options. By incorporating this equipment into our Custodial Department, we can more efficiently complete classroom/site disinfecting than with manual disinfecting, but also respond to outbreaks of other viruses
