Summary: During review of assessments for current elementary school hardscape needs and with the assistance of a professional inspection survey, it was identified that the main playground at Valle Verde Elementary requires rubber surface replacement to avoid slip, trip and fall hazards during outside physical activity. The Kindergarten Playground Rubber Surface replacement/repair was approved at an earlier time.
Funding: Program 7607 - Measure C, Board Allocated 2/26/2018
Fiscal Impact $46,527.60 - The project total is within budget, no additional funds needed.

Recommendation: Move to approve the Rubber Surface Replacement to the main playground at Valle Verde Elementary to Robertson Recreational Surfaces
