Summary: The architect firm, LPA was awarded (RFQ #1790 9/8/18) a contract to develop the District's Facility Master Plan (FMP). The FMP has been completed per the scope of the agreement. In order to ensure an effective transition and implementation of the FMP, the District is requesting approval to continue the services of LPA on an hourly not-to-exceed (NTE) $150,000 basis for a period of one year through July 31, 2020, unless extended through a contract amendment. LPA will assist the District with following:
1. Provide consultation to assist the District with the interpretation of the FMP documents
2. Provide consultation to design firms for translation of the FMP documents and scope of defined project sites
3. Consultation of other items that could influence changes to the FMP
4. Refine the FMP at the direction of the District

Staff is recommending approval of LPA’s proposal to assist the District with FMP documents, coordination with design firms, refining of the FMP as needed and general FMP consultation.
