Summary:

AA Medtrans provides transportation services for students participating in programs in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District,Contra Costa County,State and Non-Public Schools, to/from Home and School Sites for the 2013- 2014 school year.
The original service contract was in the amount of $24,000. A change order for $550.00 was added on 9/18/13,bringing the contract to $24,550. On the meeting of 10/9/2013 the Board of Education approved a increase of $35,000 through the end of November pending Request for Proposals (RFP #1662) This increase brought the current Purchase Order to $59,550.
In order to continue to provide continuity to our students, it is requested that the current purchase order be increased a additional $240,000 and RFQ# 1662 be reissued in Spring of 2014 with a contract to start at the Beginning of the 2014-15 school year.
The revised contract amount would be $299,550 which is budgeted under Transportation Special Education code 5411. |
