14.13 Review and Potential Approval of Vendor Change for Ygnacio Valley High School's Paton Group Purchases

Goal 1: All students will receive a high quality education in a safe and welcoming environment with equitable and high expectations, access to technology, and instruction in the California State Standards that prepare them for college and/or career.
Ygnacio Valley High School received Board approval on March 9, 2020, item 16.7 to purchase 3D printers and Supplies from Paton Group for the engineering pathway for $24,878.04. It was determined that the informal bidding process to ensure lowest pricing had not been done prior to the Board approval March 9th. Purchasing has completed the bidding process and determined the two lowest priced bidders are B&H Photo and SourceGraphics. As a result, approval is being requested to change the vendor from the previously approved Paton Group to B&H Photo and SourceGraphics.
