Summary:

Staff request approval to ratify submission of the California Scale-Up Multi-Tiered System of Support (SUM) Initiative Technical Assistance training grant to assist Mt. Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) in implement Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) practices using an evidence-based continuous improvement process . MDUSD will work to develop, align, and improve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional resources, programs, supports, and services utilizing a coherent MTSS framework that engages all systems leading to improved student outcomes. The grant will pay for professional development related costs and materials. The technical assistance grant is for one-time funding of $25,000 over three years (2017-2020). |
