Summary:

District is seeking permission to utilize the Santa Clarita Valley School Food Services Agency (SCVSFSA) Request for Proposal # 1704, awarded on May 16, 2017, for the procurement of Processed USDA Foods Products and Commercial Food Products for SUPER Co-Op Member Districts. RFP #1704 was awarded to Gold Star Foods for an initial one year period beginning July 1, 2017. Contract may be extended for an additional two(2), one (1) year periods in accordance with provisions contained in Ed Code Section 17596. Mt. Diablo Unified School District is a named member in good standing of the Super Co-Op Member Districts with allows us to utilize the awarded contract.
Food and Nutrition Services also requests approval to issue an open Purchase Order in the amount not to exceed $1,050,000. to Gold Star Foods for the 2017-2018 school year. |
